Thousands of years locked up inside
I have been unleashed from the bonds that hold me
Snakes slither across the floor, leading the way for my awakening
Lions, panthers, and tigers roar as I, their mistress, enters the hallway
My children all stand and bow their heads toward me
I raise my hand out towards them
I open my mouth
Fangs of glory showing
And declare war

I made this poem after one of the Art student's pieces at my school. She is a unique and wonderful artist
