The Last Thud
Piling up all of

 The want

 The need

 The emotions

 The urge.

 Finally it’s just enough

It pushes me over the edge.

 The life

 Leaving the body

 The blackish-red blood

 Flows

 From the vain

 Straying away from the path

 To nurture the body

 A pale face

 Becoming even paler

 As the puddle

 Next to the body

 Increases its capacity.

 As the blood flows

 The life

Is taken hostage by the blood

 And is sucked out

 By the very thing

 That keeps it alive.

 The eyes roll back

 The mind goes blank

 But

 Strangely

 You can still hear.

 Thud, thud, thud.

 Your heart

 Beating more, and more

 Faint

 As it beats

 A horrifying scream

 Passes through your ears

 And then

 One last,
 Thud.
