I apologize on behalf of you

I trace the outline of your face with my mind,
I hope to save it for a rainy day.
You are wild yet gracious.
A forbidden love
Yet we are meant to be.
If I could only you weren’t so afraid to admit your feelings.
You’re afraid to be yourself.
Every time I look in your direction and catch you staring,
I die a little inside.
I’m sorry I cant be who you want me to be.
I’m sorry you’re ashamed of your feelings.
But I’m not exactly sure why I should be the one apologizing.
It’s not my fault you don’t see my true beauty.
And you cannot be forgiven for your idiocy.
Because I like a book; change for no one.
But I am sorry for one thing.
I am sorry for you.
so therefore i apologize on behalf of you.
I am sorry that the most homely are the most shallow.
