Child of Dreams
I am a child of the plains,
Trapped in the corn but longing for the city,
A child of many dreams.
I am quiet. But in the spotlight, I am fierce.
I am a performer, Having a deep passion for what I love more than anything.
Theatre. My life, my craft, my love.
I am a musician, pure and true. Singing is in my flesh, reaching out of my heart, and grasping the listeners.
pulling in one by one,
with the languages of many countries.
I sing from my heart.
I am not jealous. Jealousy may appear, but fades away.
It's hard to trust others, but there is trust in me.
I don't always listen, but I have the ability to.
I am art. It has formed me, like a mound of clay formed into a luxurious sculpture.
I as born in a faraway land far across the ocean.
I am me.
