I'm gonna act like I don't care
I'm gonna act like your not there
I'm gonna act like you don't know 
That really inside me 
My heart is broke
I'm gonna have my head held high
So you don't know that I'm dying inside
I'm gonna act like I'm happy and smile
When really all I do is cry
I'm gonna smile and be happy in life
So you won't see that I'm not alright
I'm gonna lie to you
And say I'm okay
So you don't worry about me
And so we don't have to fight

The author's comments:
Well I was recently in a relationship and when he broke up with me I tried to pretend to be ok so my friends wouldn't worry about me. I hope when people read this poem they will realize that it's ok to be sad and it's ok to cry because that's part of life.
