A child plea
For help
Goes unheard
And her bruises
Continue to be unseen,
She walks around
In constant fear
Of being asked
What happened
And the pain
Of having to lie
Of having to hide the truth
Of fear
If he found out
What people where asking.

She hides her face,
With makeup
And a hood over her face,
She walks with a limp
A war wound
From last night’s fight…

Tell me
When did our world
Become so painful
To be a child
Why does this little girl
Have to suffer so,
When clearly other’s know
Of his rage,
Of his sexuality
Why?

Tell my how many children
Much die
In order for the world to understand
That this is real!!!
