You are my hero
And every-one's hero too.
There you stand, proud and true,
After all that you have been through.
While you remember all the men that have died,
And all of the tears that you may have cried.
When you saw the bullets flying by,
You fought back full of courage and pride,
To save our nation from evils eye.
You fought to keep our guard for us as you thought freedom might die.
That's what you truly are--
