Now worlds weigh on broken shoulders,
as we fight with inner soldiers.
Absence makes our minds rewind,
and recollect a different time.
One with ease and thoughts of care,
a time when there was joy to spare.
Love makes all the pain worthwhile-
Memories in single file-
Hurt, then lust, then confrontation,
our love was our own creation.

The inspiration to this piece was a fight with my boyfriend.
