I'm not too far from you, I can't wait to see you, again and again. Pick me up to the highest level, and lay me down once. I reach the clouds. I'm not a fiend, just persistent in my being. - Chelsea Grin Don't Ask Don't Tell

From the sea of faces
You hear a cry from across the room
But ignore it's plea
And continue on with your boring life

Parents don't hear our silent pleas
Teachers don't care
And Society ignore it
This Symphony of Melancholia Children

We've tried so many times to fix ourselves
We've asked for help
And held out our hand
But no one came to save us from our cries

We dress in black and other colors
Cry in the night
And scream during the day
People laugh and make fun of us
Make us feel bad
They don't get it

We have secrets only people like us would understand
We may express ourselves in ways that make you sick
But that's who we are

We are the Symphony of Melancholia Children
We may self hurt
Or just be down
Don't judge us
Cause you don't understand us

Don't be hating us
Just cause we're different than you
Hahaha, hehehe,
We maybe quite
We maybe loud but yet we are all the same

Cause we are the Symphony of Melancholia Children

The author's comments:
I hate when I'm picked on for being different. Picked on for wearing a lot of dark colors, and wearing dark eye liner. It makes me sad a lot because of it.
