Just Stop and Laugh

The smoke surrounds the lake,
Slowly the breeze pushes it into the distance.
Lingering in the air,
The smell remains just as powerful as before.
The earth changing around us,
The bright sunny sky turns into the dark night.
Blackness surrounds us in this landscape,
Trying to stay focused on the dirt trail.
Chuckling coming from the distance,
As we try to stay huddled together it just keeps getting harder and harder.
None of us taking anything seriously,
We just stop and laugh.
