I’ve written to you
Over the summer
When the sky is blue
And the days feel longer

I’ve worked hard
Till the sun goes down
And now you tell me
You won’t be around?

I won’t let you leave
My grip is still strong
No, I’m not here to deceive
I’m here where you too belong

Over the summer I'm gardening, and once frost comes the plants die off. Only to come back the next year. This reminds me of what my relationships are like. Its one certain guy one year than another the next. Especially over the summer.
