Silvery melodies blast into my ears
Confirming, denying my hopes and fears
Close lids and flutter lashes to the beat of the drum
Notes fly through the air as guitar strings strum
Heart pounding in unison with the base
As my head fills with music and casts a glow upon my face
Acoustic sounds forge tranquility and bliss
Upon my lips sweet melodies do kiss
