The Smell of Sleep

You feel
The gentle warmth in the air,
The cozy blankets surrounding you,
And the soft pillows under your head.
You see
The warm morning sun
Streaming through the window,
And pooling on the floor.
You hear
The muffled sounds of birds
Singing outside.
You taste
The sweetness of your breath
From the night before.
You smell
The air full of sleep,
Whatever that smells like to you.
