Burned

Burned forever
These scars shall remain
The flames traced my pain

Burned for my mistakes
That I didn't meen to commit
Now I sit
In a well filled with my tears
For my sanity I do fear

Burned for my honesty
Just couldn't keep quiet
Not when silence became a riot
Within my soul
Her cries Burn like scourched coal

Now I am Burned
For trying to save
Trying to keep up our strengths
She is forever silent now
And it hurts to much to look beyond tommorow

Burned forever
These scars shall remain
Telling those who will listen
Of my immortal pain

The author's comments:
My inspiration of this poem came from a book, but I can't remember which book. I have read so many and this is a rather old poem of mine.
