Blazing sun
Sticky sheets
Sweat glistening
This summer heat
I miss spring
The flowers blooming
The smell of grass and life
Permeating the air
It’s too hot to function
Sunburn’s a pain
It’s too hot for me to get up
Or even make some cool lemonade
Spring was cooler
And the breeze made it better
The water was perfect
I do not like this hot weather
Blazing sun
Humid heat
I won’t miss the summer
I’m too busy wishing for spring.
