Faces
I used to see new faces everyday. In bright colors, with something different and unique about them. They all had these wonderful possibilities. Could they love like I could love? Could they suffer like I suffered? Did they know what I knew? No.
Soon they lost their colors, they lost their form, now every face is just the same, no challenges to see. Except for yours.
For yours is bright and draws me close and makes me almost shout. The eyes, the lips, the way I see me, in you. The way I feel for you. The way I need for you.
It's quite new.
