Little rose by the wall,
Looking so forlorn.
How many troubles have you seen,
While standing by the wall?

Quiet sentinel standing guard,
Forgotten and alone,
Drooping petals slowly falling,
Freezing to the ground.

Memories etched in frosty leaves,
Fading from all knowledge.
A memory of those salty tears,
That wet the ground around it.

A memory of the shining sun,
The better days long gone,
All falling down,
Onto the ground,
The memories now forgotten.

Little rose by the wall,
Looking so forlorn.
How many troubles have you seen,
While standing by the wall?
