Frightening

As I sit there
looking for an escape
I can't, I'm frozen
my legs are jello
The cluches of this man,
is frightening
I try to cry for help,
my voice chords do not work,
untill an unexpected hero walks in
I am saved, I run,
never to return again,
the courage can not find me,
one day it will find it's home inside me,
to face the place that frightens me the most.
