Go to the computer curser blinking,
Get inspiration try to start thinking,
Black screen, blue screen change the font and the color,
No words coming to me,
So it doesn’t really matter,
Think about winter,
And how it lasted to long,
Stupid idea,
Sounds like a bad song,
How about the Red sox,
And trips to Fenway Park,
Trying to rhyme with Youkilis,
Left me in the dark,
Express my devotion to the Pittsburgh Steelers,
Touchdowns and football a subject for third graders,
Should I be deep and serious or light and cheery?
I’m fourteen years old,
Emotions aren’t easy,
I guess being stuck without words is not the worst thing,
I don’t need to think deeply about winter or spring,
Innocence is found in words on a page,
If you don’t like the outcome,
Blame it on my age.

I wanted to talk about my self and I wanted to talk about the seasons changing.
