as hurtful
Symbolic
of pain
Because
of the thorns that prick
while making way
to the graceful petals
Thought of
as too much toil
to get to the beauty
But accepted
when the pricks are endured
by someone else
So the final piece
can stand
tall and proud
because it is meant to be
Admired
for its beauty
Wanted
for its modesty
and quiet elegance
Given
for wealth
and
for poor
and never
lose its beauty
