Emptiness

Do you truly know emptiness,
What it is like
to have nothing in your life,
to be an angel with no halo,
or to be the sun with no light,
If you know
I share a tear with you,
If you don't
I pity you,
I know the emptiness others do,
with my father gone
and my life disintegrating,
but unlike others
a light is coming,
Will it leave a scar,
the emptiness
or will it leave nothing,
the emptiness
I will know
I

hummn.. well from what i read this is truly mostly will be and can be relate to so many kids that have their parents in iraq it is really good the poem itself represents the innocent questions of a child nice write and wish you the best for you and your dad to see each other everytime you two can :)
