Inside the mirror

I see myself

Trapped behind a face

That is no longer mine

I am the only one

Who can see bitter decline


I am the only one who can

See me truly as I am

Bitter, angry, and broken

One of the damned


It’s no longer really me

No one else can truly see

The bitter broken girl

I have become to be
