Maybe that's why I like the rain
for the privacy
the intimacy it offers
The fact that its just me
and the rain
in a way it makes you look inward
beyond how you look,
how you feel
beyond the cold
It draws you in
makes you think
Its easy to cry in the rain
maybe that's the privacy part of it
not only to be alone but to let you feelings go
knowing the rain wont tell
What about the intimacy
Its the fact that its not going to leave
that its there wrapped around you
So close
So gentle
