I bear this burden proudly?
Though it leaves me weak?
From holding it up staunchly?
To succeed I cannot be meek

Scream it to the stars?
You live on in my actions?
They’ll hear me on Mars?
As I calm warring factions

My love for the lost?
Fuels my ambitions?
I fear not the cost?
Nor painful conditions

I will succeed dear friend?
Through life or death?
I will uphold your end?
Until my final breath
