Envisioning our future.
All the time in the world,
Rests on our shoulders.

Listening to your laugh,
Is all I need to be happy.
A soft whisper
Revives me from my frustrations.

Looking into your eyes,
Is an escape from reality.
A moment of bliss
Right here with you.

Living those past memories
In my head,
Always makes me think of the
Reverberating word coming from your lips.

The author's comments:
My girlfriend has a jealous streak about her. So when ever we have an argument, she repeats things that I have told her or promised to her and then she ends up calling me a liar. But once she says what she needs to say I'll give her a hug and a kiss then everything is back to normal. She hasn't read the poem yet, but I'm sure once she does we'll have an argument, then I'll write another poem.
