Isn’t everyone married?
I think so.
I’ve been married so many times
to so many people, places, things,
to smiles, tears,
to words and songs
My heavy fingers clink and jingle
gold silver copper metal plastic foil thread
I carry my husbands and wives and their children
everywhere
Because who could leave the ones they love?
