This World I Made
A huge smile on my face
My soul seems far away
I'm staring into space
My mind has gone astray
There's this world that I made
It saves me from fear
It's my very own parade
It helps me disappear
The pain that we bear
The cruelty we dish out
Kindness is now so rare
The fear I could do without
So I disappear inside
to this world that I've made
I don't want to run and hide
But I'm more than just afraid
There's no such thing as pain
In this world that I've made
Always sunshine after the pain
Always someone at your aid
So once again, I've left this place
Full of pain, hurt, and sorrow
Gone to stare into outer space
Hoping for a better tomorrow
