I Really Don't Know
I don’t what to think
I don’t know who you are
I don’t know if I should be looking here
Or if you live someplace far
All I know about you
Is that you’re really cute
Funny, smart, crazy, and kind
Are what describe you too
Maybe you think the same about me
Maybe you don’t at all
Maybe you think of a man with good looks
Maybe he’s tan, built, and tall
But there’s just one thing about me
That separates myself from him
It’s that I’ll be yours for good and forever
And he’ll leave you out in the wind
Maybe I do know you
Maybe I don’t at all
Perhaps you live in a different state
Or maybe we say, “Hey!” to each other in the hall
I have one last thing I need to tell you
Before I let you go
While all your past relationships have failed
Like a springtime garden, ours won’t wilt, it will grow.

The thing I hope people get from my poem is that no matter if you've been in a relationship or not, somebody is out there for you.
