I Belong

I stand, ruler over all I see
My heart borne upon the wind
Free as the unicorn in the sky
For this moment in time, I belong.
I laugh, joking with my friends
I make jokes and jests to see them laugh
Never afraid to try something new
For this moment in time, I belong.
I gallop, safe in the deep leather saddle
My horse and I in perfect harmony
Racing forward to the time of our lives
For this moment in time, I belong.
All these things make up my spirit
While I discover who I will be
I celebrate who I am
For this moment in time, I belong
