Left Behind
Doesn’t he know she cares even if he doesn’t see it?
Wouldn’t he know when he’s behind bars she wouldn’t be crying and grieving?
What he does affect her too
When he sees that she feels like he is walking in her shoes
Back when she was young and clueless and no one was there to help or see
But just “friends” that envy and deceive
Why doesn’t he stop before he becomes those “n----s” on the street?
And he’ll be struggling caring more than jus the shoes on his feet
He’s going to be left behind when I am graduating
Sitting on the sidelines still waiting….
