As usual
the highly anticipated bell
stabs the hollow silence
then fills it full with its blasting glare
as all the gates open
-simultaneousely-
and the racers pour out like anxious lava
burst out of bloated volcanoes
holding true
to their ashy breath
and like lava
they slow down
to capture me
so I don?t escape
their slicing words
carving shapes out of me
to their liking
so I have to struggle
to put together
the jigsaw puzzle
while they, fascinated,
devotedly soak up
every word
tossed to the class.
they are here
to learn
after all.
