Storm
The clouds run quickly across the sky,
Making it dark in an instant.
The soft rumbles become louder,
As they bang fiercely on my door.
The storm progresses and the wind picks up
The trees are slapping their gentle leaves and
The rain started hitting my window
As I walk outside the cool breeze knocks me off balance,
I step into the rain and try to catch the tiny drops with my tongue.
They splash on my face and run down to the ground.
I can taste the pure crisp water.
The rain builds up around me
Forming puddles of unknown depth
The thunder turns to lightning and
The bright light cracks the dark sky
