Just got back from Mexico
Where people go to see the Caribbean flow
Sun tan lotion from head to toe
So relaxing and free to let go
The most fun that you can ever undergo
Nothing you encounter is ever just so-so
Everywhere you look it’s a picture show
More beautiful than winning on a game show
Always hot and never frost or snow
Taking your time to obtain tranquility and let go
Stress just doesn’t happen in Mexico

The soothing heat of the sun comforting you
At the resort you never run out of things to do
Go shopping, eat, or even get a tattoo
From what I experienced they got a great review
Sitting out on the balcony looking at the sea cobalt blue
Just you and your friends no homework to do
It’s a lifestyle I would take kindly to
Before you leave realize what you have until it finally hits you

A week in paradise is unexplainable fun
Something to do there for everyone
I would love to make the week comeback and rerun
Because every food you eat is never overdone
While your there you feel like number one
Love watching the nightfall turn into midnight sun
I feel like I’ve sinned I had so much fun
I really hope I don’t get into trouble with the nuns
So much love in the air just like hitting a homerun

You hate to leave and get back to reality
Getting back and the plane to defy gravity
You wish you had three wishes from a genie
You know what one of them would be
To go back to Mexico and get real crazy

I wrote this poem after a vacation to Mexico that I obviously didn't want to end!
