What if you could take it all back?

A memory
That haunts your every second?
A moment not taken –
Regretted?
Words spoken that weren't meant?
Or maybe a tear –
That was not worth shedding?

Maybe everything
happens for a reason.

Or is it just life?

The author's comments:
In my AP class we had to write a poem about anything. I decided to write about something that all teenagers could relate to, and connect with at a more personal level.
