The sun

There it is up in the sky
If it was not there we would die
It’s so bright it can make you blind
If you can’t see it you may lose your mind
It also can damage our skin
Everyday we see it as our world spins
Its way out in space
But it makes earth such a great place
It also lights up the moon
Makes it look like a balloon
It is also very hot
Even if we are not
The sun is a gorgeous gift
And for some reason it fits
I hope it will never fade away
As time passes away
