My Heart, Your Heart

I would love to keep your heart forever
Let me hold it in my arms
Don't worry I'll keep it beating
The thumping is loud yet soft
Why must I give it back
It really isn't fair

All I wanted to do is hold your heart in my hand

Please don't die, I'll give you mine
My heart is all yours
Now I have yours an you have mine
So keep it safe and warm
Lock it up
Throw away the key
My heart is yours
That's the way it should be
