Uniqueness ground into sand
Searching for life amongst the bland

Blind to this perilous brink are we
Structure, profiling, superficial glee

We must break free of our worldly shackles
As the flame of spirit barely crackles

Faith in bitterness and doubt remain
As hate permeates each membrane

Fears of difference and lack of maturity
Will put identity to death most assuredly

How could it be we have gone so wrong?
Have we neglected ourselves this long?

The enigma of time almost gone.

Strength ebbs from mind to hand
Gone are days where one man did stand.
