Lone Star State
I came from a place
that wasnt the Lone Star State
I traved when i was young to this
very flat place.
This is where the coyoties howl
and the crickets chirp at night.
At night in the summer time in the Lone Star State we catch little critter
whos butts light up.
then we put them in a cup.
In the lone start State kids like to play in the dirt, even if they have a shirt
thats white.
I wasnt from the Lone Star State, but i moved here when i was young.
I saw alot of things on this very flat land, then i came to the school names Cleburne, also the town name.
They all looked at me like i was an alien.
I told ‘em I wasn’t from ‘round here
But my names Kati Ann and I now live
In the Lone Star State
