Drama Carnival
I’ve been caught up in the madness
The madness only people can create
Created through anger and desperation
It’s like a little drama carnival ride
Spinning till it makes me sick
The time has come to jump ship
And run but I’m still sitting here
Pounding my head into the wall
The speed of the spinning increases
My anger is building up and about to boil over
I can’t think straight and my vision is blurring
The time to run has gone
Now its time to fight
My words cascade in a million different colors
From red, to blue, to the death of black
The spinning slows
My vision returns and my hands are shaking
Thought becomes clear and anger is subsiding
I have a million people staring at me
Blank dumbfounded looks on their faces
Their self-realization crashing over them like a wave
The ride stops and I’m the first to step off
