"Rain"
I waited out
Under an old willow tree
Staring up
At that dark sad sky
Every drop of rain,
Felt like a drop of sadness
Raindrops started to pour out of my eyes
Just like the rain
I wiped my face,
Just like a windshield on a car
But tears just kept sliding my cheeks
Then dropping one at a time
On the wet damp ground
Then I felt a light soft tap from behind
A girl with a sky blue umbrella asked,
"Would you like to use my umbrella?"
I wiped my tears off, and nodded
We both walked down the long dirt path
As the clouds above
Slowly faded away
And the sun smiled
With rays of bright lights
Reflected off the smile on my face
