Escape

I've never heard the ocean's blue
I can't say I ever will
You say I have to, I'm missing out
But I feel no great loss

And I can't say I ever will
You tug my arm some more
But I feel no great loss
You forget as the car drives away

You tug my arm some more
In my sleep this time
You forget as the car drives away
But this time I watch and yell for you

In my sleep this time
You say I have to, I'm missing out
I want to go I do
I've never heard the ocean's blue

This poem is a pantoum, so I'm not just repeating random lines.
