A life well spent?

One sixth of my life is already over,
Only five sixths to go,
Such a short life,
And I have nothing to show,
Everyday the same,
There is never a break,
When can I live for me,
When can I escape onto unknown roads,
I long for a risk,
For a chance,
For something,
To let me know that my life is not
A waste.
