"The worst thing about being lied to is that you know that you're not worht the truth"

A contradiction, two opposing forces within
It’s tradition, a balance of two sins
An indecision, chaos beneath the skin
Forever, an everlasting dance we do in

From the abyss of blue
To the towers of broken hue

For every up, there’s a down
For every smile, there’s a frown
For every line, there’s an arc
For every light, there’s a dark

For there is balance
A chosen order
For whatever can’t stand
Grows older

It falls and dies
It’s really no surprise
It comes to every eye
The fact that everything dies

Eventually with time
The natural order survives
An inert state everything is heading
An enthalpy of zero is spreading

Everything at peace and end
Calming nature, two forces within
Dance forever in lasting balance
Balance at an end within

Forever, an everlasting dance we do in
An indecision, chaos beneath the skin
It’s tradition, a balance of two sins
A contradiction, two opposing forces within

The author's comments:
This poem was inspired by the fact that in order for our world to function it needs to be in balance. Even if something gets out of place, the universe tries to balance itself out.
