We live in this beautifully disgusting world
This wonderfully terrifying place
With no thought of what’s to come
What’s already here and waiting for that final mistake we are destine to make
It’s no one’s fault but our own
The fault of mankind

Our use of the natural and unnatural
We are ignorant, we are foolish, we do not trust
We do not learn from the past mistakes of others nor do we learn from our own
The power we seek consumes us as we destroy what little we have left
There are no morals to stand by in this time
No faith, too much faith

We look deep inside ourselves and see nothing for we fear the monster inside
We look deep inside others and see nothing for we are disgusted with them and their ways
There is no heart for we are cruel animals all alike
No fear, too much fear

It is not just the geography of this earth we destroy but its’ people
It is not just physical pain we inflict, but mental
We murder with words
This world will not end from the plates shifting under our feet nor fire like rain
Not nature
Nor will god have a say in how our final days play out
The world will end in the cold blood we spill as we laugh without knowing what’s next
We live in this beautifully disgusting world
This wonderfully terrifying place
For how long?
It is no ones fault but our own
The fault of mankind
