The night is dark
with no light to shine
The rain is heavy
rinsing away the blood and shame
I fall to my knees
hoping the nightmare would leave
I scream up to the dark sky
but there is no sign or reply
my mouth is dry
i feel my soul leaving
it was so easy to fall
did you enjoy watching me fall?
Growing up, this wasn't the plan
You were my everything
but all I'm left with is a broken heart
and a body nobody wants
the wounds will heal
the scabs will fade
but nothing can take this pain
away!
