“There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people. It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations. It is a thorn that irritates and hurts; it is a sword that kills.” -Buddha

It's the grungy alleyways
Twisted streets where sin comes alive
Turning, curling, lining the veins
Of souls doomed to survive

Lust and wrath
H**kers selling themselves at night
Beaten by the law and the lawless
Churn your stomach, gag to make yourself right

I give in
To the deadly sin
In once innocent eyes

Greed and pride
Refusing all reason
Drag lust back for gold
And false masks matching seasons

My body falls
As death devours all
To find some "perfect" disguise

Sloth and sick gluttony
Indulging persistent depression
When breath and hope are drowned in my blood
Apathy within leaves a lasting impression

The pigs and the w****s
Those who demand more
I wonder why

Am I still alive
I still survive
Despite the final, seventh, envy
Dye this soul green
With the other six unseen
Circling that maddening desire
As the flames rise higher
And I burn with my sin
But never break apart
Envy, gluttony, lust, pride
Sloth, greed, wrath
Imprison my heart
