Holding On
Billowing black clouds
Swallowing up the gray sky
This world reflects all my emotions
That have bubbled up inside
Foot prints trace the ground I walk
Hand prints mark the trees
What have become of these people
That have all come before me
Slugging down this long, long road
Wondering what is yet to come
Holding onto my dignity
For the rest of me is gone
