"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."
— Marilyn Monroe

When I look in the mirror what I see
Is a slightly distorted version of me.
No one in the world is the same
Some live for a game or maybe for the fame.
I see happiness, curiosity and wonder
But in this world there is also pain and hunger.
Why can’t everyone go back to the time
When your biggest concern was that you couldn’t rhyme?
Life is full of decisions that everyone must make
You have to choose what path you will take.
Always remember no mistake is too great
You will fall down but then you’ll catch a break.
When I look into the mirror what I see
is all of the things I want to be.

I wrote this because I think that it is very honest and many people can relate to what I have to say in this poem.
