Ripple in the water

I run my arms through the salty water
Farther
And farther
I go
Until I am far enough to forget
Forget about the worries of the world
I lay across the board that divides me between two different worlds
Swaying
Back
And forth
Until I am hypnotized
Hypnotized by the simple repetition of the ripples in the water`
I listen to the soft waves crash on shore in synchronization to the beat of my heart
Thump
Thump, thump
Until I am one
One with the sweet escape
