One ripple at a time

A ripple in the water
Like a tear in our hearts
Each leading to another ripple
Another tear
With each having a effect on the other
What does this mean?
One little ripple in the water
Turns into a wave
As this wave comes crashing down
It hurts and slams the ocean floor
Just like an unforgettable heartbreak
As I sit and watch the ripples go by
I know what they are leading to
Big waves and heartbreaks
One ripple at a time
